I designed and built Q/T, a native translation and proofreading app for Mac and iPhone. Quick access, on-device drafts, and AI refinement help people communicate without interrupting their work.
Where I started
Switching to a separate translation tool interrupts reading and writing. I built a small, quickly accessible surface that brings translation and proofreading into the current workflow.
Designing the experience
Kept the main flow focused on opening, entering text, and copying the result. Tone, alternative phrasings, and additional input methods remain available without crowding the default experience.
Connected product strategy, interaction design, native implementation, and the product website. Speech recognition and image text recognition run on device; AI refinement receives text through the service.
